During my involvement in cricket events and development activities culminating in becoming the General Manager of Malaysian Cricket Association, I had the privilege to be associated with MacSports, which is headed by Anto. MacSports through Anto had been instrumental in bringing cricket teams from India that had provided our local teams and players an opportunity to play with better cricketers. Anto's expertise in sports event management gave me an opportunity to learn and improve my ability as well as execution of events on a personal level for me. I have been associated with Mac Sports for over 25 years. First, as a participant in their inter corporate Cricket tournaments and later as a receipient of their facilitation of intra-corporate events at Siemens besides being part of the combined corporate Cricket teams that toured internationally to Malaysia & Singapore. One thread that has lasted all these years is the sincerity of Anto & his team in staying true to the Sport and spirit of the game. They have not let commercial interests rule their decision and have always ensured that the participants come out and put out their best and with the right level of organising and facilitation. Mac Sports have always been ahead of their time - be it introduction of T20 when 25 over Corporate (leather ball) games were the norm, power play when no one thought of it domestically or internationally , coloured dress and white ball tournaments when no one had thought of it or various other innovations even in Tennis ball intra-corporate tournaments. My association with Anto transcends beyond formal Organiser relationship and am truly privileged to know Anto, his team & Mac Sports who are cut from a different cloth. I whole heartedly recommend Mac Sports to any Corporate or Professional League teams or players. I always wish only the best for Mac Sports !
